Brigadier General Grady L. Patterson III is the Assistant Adjutant General - Air, South Carolina National Guard.

Patterson received a direct commission to 1st Lt. as a Staff Judge Advocate in the Air National Guard in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College in 1975 and his Juris Doctor in 1979 from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
